Playbox Theatre is currently celebrating its 30th birthday! That’s 30 years of world-class artistic adventures working with and for young people at home and across the globe.

Since 1986, Playbox has been devoted to celebrating the potential of all young people, using the arts as a creative springboard. With young people at its heart, as both artists and audience, our unique environment, our expert practitioners and our limitless vision endeavour to ensure that all those we work with emerge more confident, articulate, imaginative and engaged within our society.

Playbox Theatre’s training is far-reaching, offering programmes and activities that allow participants to explore many art forms, including: Acting, Circus, Musical Theatre, Shakespeare,  Physical Theatre, Voice, Technical and Digital Media. These techniques are approached through workshops, rehearsals, masterclasses and performances both nationally and internationally.
