PLAYBOX AGENCY
Playbox Theatre’s Agency is a facility for members who would like the opportunity to seek professional auditions in Film, Television, Theatre, Radio and Commercials.
Over the last year, members of the agency have been seen for some really exciting projects including:
Feature Films – Disney’s Mary Poppins Returns, The Secret Garden, Doctor Doolittle, The Little Strange and Artemis Fowl.
TV series – Game of Thrones, Kim Possible, The Worst Witch, The Influence, His Dark Materials, Little Women, Casualty, So Awkward, Les Miserables, Doctors and Genius Picasso.
Theatre – West End productions of Matilda and School of Rock. RSC productions of Julius Caesar, Titus, Christmas Carol, Duchess of Malfi and Macbeth.
Also numerous radio plays including The Archers, TV commercials and short films.
Being part of the Playbox Agency opens up access to a series of masterclasses and current casting opportunities. Recent masterclasses include: Auditioning for Musicals (Simon Pollard, Resident Director of Billy Elliott) and Acting for Screen (Sinead Keenan, Actress – Little Boy Blue, Being Human and London Irish, and Chris McGill, Director of Dusthouse).
Watch out for Agency member Nathanael Saleh appearing in Disney’s upcoming feature MARY POPPINS RETURNS, also several of our members are currently appearing on stage with the RSC, and listen out for Rob Redwood currently playing Jake in THE ARCHERS.
The Playbox Agency annually invites Playbox Members to audition to become part of the agency.
How do I join?
Applications are open each summer for Playbox Members. Everyone must submit an application form and short filmed monologue. Successful applicants will be offered a place. Contact Us for more information.
Annual Membership fee £200 which includes professional photographs and entry on Spotlight, the industry’s leading casting database.
