Playbox Theatre has a superb reputation for its work in training young people in circus and performance enabling the company to develop large scale productions, tours, indoor and outdoor shows and events. Playbox Circus performers have represented the UK at international festivals and are a vibrant force for circus as an art form in the UK.

Our recent production, Wonderia, was presented at the Houses of Parliament for the G8 conference and at the University of Birmingham. With support from Mercedes Petronas F1 team we recently created Formula X a large scale show inspired by the world of motorsport. Members of our Circus programme have gone on to work in circus in both the UK and internationally with companies such as Silver Linings, Cirque Du Soleil and Archaos. Our trainers are amongst the most highly skilled practitioners in the industry.
