Starry Nights 2019 - Booking Open

We are delighted that booking is now open for our favourite annual major fundraiser for Playbox Theatre. 2019 promises to be bigger and better than ever before!

Starry Nights is a wonderful opportunity for Playbox members from the youngest, to the oldest, to come together to create a magnificent, celebratory production, sharing extracts from some of the company’s most exciting works over its 32-year history!

There are NO AUDITIONS – this is an opportunity for everyone to get involved, without the pressure of selection, or the rigours of a long and intensive rehearsal period. It is a wonderful project for those who are new to performing, as well as those that are well-seasoned on stage at Playbox – everyone works together to create something truly unique.

To offer as many opportunities as possible there will be two companies, TEAM ENTERPRISE and TEAM ENDEAVOUR, rehearsing and performing at separate times, but creating the same production. You can even sign up to be in both casts and we promise you’ll be featured in different extracts in each version!

Rehearsal and performance dates for the different teams are as follows:

TEAM ENTERPRISE:

Mon 18th February, 10am-4pm

Weds 20th February, 10am-4pm

Thurs 21st February, 4pm for 7pm performance (finished by 9pm approx.)

Sat 23rd February, 12pm for 1pm performance (finished by 3pm approx.)

TEAM ENDEAVOUR:

Tues 19th February, 10am-4pm

Thurs 21st February, 10am-4pm

Fri 22nd February, 4pm for 7pm performance (finished by 9pm approx.)

Sat 23rd February, 4pm for 5pm performance (finished by 7pm approx.)

Places are booked on a first-come-first-served basis, and once each age category is filled, then we would need to add you to a waiting list. Be warned… this project tends to sell out very quickly! Do note – the lower age limit for participants is 5 years. We will however accept children who are 4-years-old as long as they are Reception Class school age.

The cost to participate in Starry Nights 2019 is £75, or £87.50 to include a Starry Nights t-shirt. Those who order Starry Nights t-shirts will be asked to wear them as costume for the show.

As you know, Starry Nights is a crucial fundraising event in Playbox Theatre’s calendar and every penny of income goes towards enabling us to continue offering unparalleled opportunities for our members and, at this time, to support our Futures campaign which sees the exciting redevelopment of our spaces to ensure The Dream Factory is state of the art for this, and future, generations.

All Playbox directors donate their time absolutely free, working to create a spectacular show for family, friends and supporters to enjoy.

Tickets for the production are £10 each and are now on sale online, by phone or in person at The Dream Factory, Warwick. We are sure lots of your family and friends will want to come and support.
